Week 2024-39
A couple of months ago, I renewed Netflix because some of the shows we were watching had new seasons. After marathoning those shows, I canceled Netflix again. Between Apple TV+, Disney Plus, and Netflix, the latter is the least watched.
Speaking of TV shows, in the last couple of weeks, we watched one or two episodes of Slow Horses per day and are now in sync with Apple's releases. This fourth season is one of my favorites so far (right up there with the first one).
While I wish I had more episodes to watch, I'm happy to be up-to-date with the show. This way, I can focus on playing the new Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which was released this week. On Thursday, the day the game launched, scientist and I went to the mall during lunchtime to get a copy, but I’ve only started playing it now. I didn’t read or watch anything about the game, so I have no idea how long it is. I'm playing in short sessions to savor the experience—I don’t want it to end too soon.
Another game I keep playing is the solo RPG Ironsworn Starforged, and last week I published a blog post about the setup I use with a Traveler's Notebook to play the game.
And saving the best for last, we went to an appointment to get our European documents, which means we no longer need to renew work visas. The interview was two months ago, but it takes time to process everything, issue the cards, etc. To celebrate, I wrote a blog post, which is currently #1 on Bear Blog's Discovery Feed.
